Some recipes are so good, they become legendary in a family. This recipe for broccoli casserole is one of those. When we need a delicious side for a family get together or a special occasion, you can be sure that this casserole will grace the table.
2 (12 oz) bags of frozen broccoli florets
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayonnaise
3 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
Cook the broccoli, making sure to drain all of the water when it is done. Place cooked broccoli in a large mixing bowl. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients, stirring well. Add the soup/ mayo mixture to the broccoli, combining thoroughly but gently. ( you don’t want to mangle the broccoli.) Pour into a greased 9″x13″ casserole and bake at 350 for 45 minutes, or until edges are golden and bubbly.
