Monkey Bread

Here is my husband’s all-time favorite breakfast–Monkey Bread! I like making it because it’s cheap, fast, and delicious. I like to throw the ingredients together the night before so that in the morning, I can pop it in the oven for a no-fuss, warm breakfast. Enjoy!

You need:

3 (7oz) cans of buttermilk biscuits
One half cup chopped pecans (optional)
One half cup sugar
One tablespoon ground cinnamon
One and a half sticks of melted butter
One cup of packed brown sugar

Spray a bundt cake pan with cooking spray. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Open the biscuits and cut them into quarters. Toss the biscuit quarters in the sugar mixture, and mix in the pecans, making sure to evenly coat everything. Put the biscuits and pecans in the prepared cake pan. Mix the melted butter with the brown sugar together until the brown sugar is melted. Pour on top of the biscuit mixture. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes, or until biscuits are baked through. Let cool in pan for ten minutes. Invert on a serving plate. Serve warm.
